About Craig Bachmann

Craig Bachmann

Born at Gatton in 1980, I’ve been fortunate enough to live on the farm in the Lockyer Valley my entire life and since a young age developing an interest in weather and the land.
I’ve had many cameras since the age of 7 but it wasn’t until 2015 that I started using a DSLR and with the help of a now great friend Murray Fox, I developed my photography further.

I find getting out and about exploring with the camera is a great way to escape from the day to day stresses of life and relax. I really enjoy the time by myself and getting creative behind the lens. There are many genres of photography I love to shoot but nothing gets the blood pumping like photographing a well-structured storm with lots of lightning, as safely as possible of course.

My wife Kacey & I are very blessed with two beautiful children, Harley and Summer. Harley started walking around with a camera taking pictures at the age of 4, so hopefully he stays keen and we can spend plenty of time together in the future photographing.

Finally a huge thank you to everyone that has supported me in anyway in regards to my photography, whether it be by purchasing an Image or calendar, contracting me for a custom photoshoot or giving me a like, comment or share on Facebook or Instagram, as it all helps in a huge way and I greatly appreciate it.

Cheers
Craig
